ਮੁੰਬਈ (ਬਿਊਰੋ) - ਗੌਰਵ ਚੋਪੜਾ ‘ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਾੜ ਟੁੱਟਿਆਂ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਹਾਂਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਇਆ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ‘ਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੜ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

As a child , me walking down the street or the market always knew that I was recognised as his son. By all. That the shopkeeper will greet me and take lesser money because I was his son...was something that i was used to.. This : when he didn't even know of their existence. It was a regular affair to find some unknown person at our gates bringing along a guest who was looking for our house. All you had to say was "Chopra Saab's house? " And anybody in that vast radius would bring you to the correct place. The love ,warmth and generosity that he had .. the idealism, the strength... An ideal husband..devoted his entire existence towards making my mother better in these last four years. To the point of getting a disease trying to protect her and then leaving all of us to keep her company.. She left us on the 19th and he did on the 29 th.. 10 days ..and they're both gone.. A void , vacuum that no amount of time will ever fill... #MerePapa

ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਟੈਸਟ ਪਾਜ਼ੇਟਿਵ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਮੋਸ਼ਨਲ ਨੋਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਹਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪੋਸਟ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 20 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

My mommy strongest !! The first picture is from a year ago. Three years of cancer fighting of the worst kind ,three years of non stop chemo: and she was bucking us up ! Always the brightest spot of energy in the room . Always. The beauty that did not need any kind of accentuation. It stood out .loved by all. To the point of seeming like her fans. . . Inspired so many..as a teacher, as a principal,as a colleague ,as a friend ,as a human being pursuing spiritual growth over everything else.. I can go on and on .about a million things..she introduced me to everything in life ..my strength..my source.. #MeriMaa was the strongest.. She left us yesterday... ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ-ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਵਤੰਤਰ ਚੋਪੜਾ…ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀਰੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਆਈਡਲ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ। ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੋਸਟ ‘ਚ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ‘ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਸ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਸੀ। ਗੌਰਵ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੋਟ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ‘ਚ ਗੌਰਵ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ..ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ 19 ਤਾਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ 29 ਨੂੰ। 10 ਦਿਨਾਂ ‘ਚ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਇਕ ਖਾਲੀਪਨ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ।’
