ਲੰਡਨ (ਬਿਊਰੋ): ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ ਵਿਲੀਅਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਕੇਟ ਮਿਡਲਟਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰੈਡਫੋਰਡ ਸਥਿਤ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਇੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮੈਂਗੋ ਸ਼ੇਕ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਫੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਿਆ।

ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਜੋੜੇ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਖਵਾਈਆਂ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਜੋੜੇ ਦੀ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਸਿੰਗਟਨ ਰੋਇਲ ਦੇ ਇੰਸਟਾਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਪੇਜ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਈ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਪੇਜ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੇਅਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

My Lahore is a British Asian restaurant chain which has taken inspiration from Lahore, known as the Food Capital of Pakistan, visited by The Duke and Duchess in 2019. The Duke and Duchess tried their hands at making mango and kulfi milkshakes before sitting down to meet representatives from the UK Women’s Muslim Council and people who have benefitted from the Council’s Curry Circle. The Curry Circle, which is sponsored by MyLahore, is an initiative that provides a hot two-course meal for people who are homeless or struggling to feed themselves. ਕੇਸਿੰਗਟਨ ਰੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਦੇ ਕੈਪਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ,''ਲਾਹੌਰ ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਚੈਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।'' ਇਹ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਫੂਡ ਕੈਪੀਟਲ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਡਿਊਕ ਅਤੇ ਡਚੇਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2019 ਵਿਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ 5 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਜੋੜਾ ਚਿਤਰਾਲ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੀ ਕਲਸ਼ ਘਾਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਦੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
